- EU Consolidated Sanctions
- OFAC SDN & Non-SDN (USA)
- HM Treasury (United Kingdom)
- SECO (Switzerland)
- OSFI (Canada)
- UN Security Council
- Maritime Shadow Fleet & others

- Firma / Account — Companies (schema: Company)
- Kontakt / Contact — Individuals (schema: Person)
- Vessel — Ships (incl. Shadow Fleet)
- Batch Upload — Bulk screening via Excel (Account, Contact, or Vessel)
2 · Sign In
Access is exclusively via your corporate Microsoft account (Azure AD SSO). There is no separate password.
- Open the application URL — if not signed in, you are automatically redirected to the login page.
- Click "Sign in with Microsoft".
- Sign in with your corporate email and Windows password.
- After login, your name appears in the top-right of the navigation bar.

3 · Einzelprüfungen
Two separate tabs for individual screenings — use Firma for companies, Kontakt for natural persons. Queries are sent to the API with the correct schema (Company or Person), matching exactly what Dynamics 365 sends.
Firma / Account (Companies)
- Enter the company name (min. 2 characters) — required.
- Optional: Country, Company Reg. No., Tax No. / INN, SWIFT / BIC.
- Click "Screen" — result appears on the page.
Kontakt / Contact (Persons)
- Enter first name and last name (each min. 2 characters) — both required.
- Optional: Birth year (4 digits, e.g. 1975).
- Click "Screen".
Country combobox (Firma)
Type an ISO code (e.g. DE) or country name. Use ↑↓ arrow keys to navigate, Enter to select.
Results
| Result | Meaning |
| Green block | No matches — clear |
| Orange block + table | Matches in sanctions lists |
| Red block | API error — check manually |
Detail modal
Click "Details" in the match table to see all data for the entry (score, type, categories, addresses, source URLs). Footer: "Download this entry as PDF".
4 · Check Vessel
Screen vessels against sanctions lists including the Shadow Fleet database.
| Field | Required | Notes |
| Vessel name | No (optional) | Full or partial name |
| IMO number | No (optional) | 7-digit identifier, without "IMO" prefix. Example: 9471126 |
At least one field (name or IMO) must be filled in.
The IMO number is a globally unique vessel identifier. When provided, the system adds the standard "IMO" prefix automatically and searches exclusively by IMO number — giving more reliable results than a name-based search.
Batch upload: IMO priority
When vessel files are uploaded, rows with an IMO number are searched by IMO only. Name is used only when no IMO is available. This prevents false positives from similar vessel names.
5 · Batch Upload
Bulk screening via Excel file with real-time progress display.
Supported file types
The system automatically detects whether the file contains Accounts (companies), Contacts (persons), or Vessels (ships) based on column headers. The result table and API schema adapt accordingly.
| Type | Detection | Required column | Optional |
| Account | Name column present, no Vorname/IMO | Name (min. 2 chars) | Country |
| Contact | Vorname / First Name column present | First Name + Last Name | Birth year |
| Vessel | IMO column present | IMO number (7 digits) | Vessel name |
Prepare Excel file
- Format: .xlsx (Excel 2007 or later)
- Maximum file size: 10 MB
- Only the first worksheet is processed
Column names are detected automatically — no reformatting needed. Dynamics 365 exports (including columns starting with "(Do Not Modify)") are supported directly.
Excel templates
Three ready-made templates are available directly next to the dropzone — one per file type:
| Template | Columns |
| Company / Account | Name, Country, Reg. No., Tax No., SWIFT/BIC |
| Contact | Last name, First name, Birth year |
| Vessel | Name, IMO number |
Fill in the template and upload it directly — or use any existing Excel file; column headers are detected automatically.
Process
- Drag file into the dropzone or click to select.
- Click "Screen file".
- Progress bar shows "X / Y" in real time.
- Automatic redirect to results page.
Result status
| Badge | Meaning |
| Match | Found in sanctions list → review immediately |
| Clear | No match — clear |
| Error | API error → re-upload or check manually |
| Skipped | Name missing / shorter than 2 characters / empty row (vessel rows with IMO but no name are valid) |
6 · PDF Reports
| PDF type | Where to click |
| Single screening report | "↓ Download PDF" in the results area |
| Single match report | "Download this entry as PDF" in the detail modal |
| Batch full report | "↓ Download PDF (All)" in batch results |
| Batch row PDF | "↓ PDF" per table row in batch results |
Vessel PDF
The vessel PDF header includes vessel name and IMO number alongside the screening date — for example: WECOYA Sanctions Screening Vessel ARCADIAN 9298715 15.06.2026 09:50:11. The query section also lists Vessel Name and IMO Number as separate fields.
Batch row PDFs
Each row PDF automatically includes the search context from the Excel file: Country for entity rows, IMO Number and Vessel Name for vessel rows.
Language: PDFs are generated in the currently selected language. Switch language before downloading if needed.
7 · Language
The application is fully available in German and English — including all UI texts, error messages, and PDF exports.
- Click "DE" / "EN" in the navigation bar (top right).
- The page is immediately displayed in the selected language.
- The setting is saved via cookie for 1 year.
8 · Score & Categories
Score (match confidence)
Indicates how closely the searched name matches the sanctions entry. All results returned by the API are displayed — identical to the behavior in Dynamics 365.
Sanctions categories
| Category | Meaning |
| Sanction | Direct sanctioning |
| War crimes | Linked to war crimes |
| Export control | Export control list |
| Corp. disqualification | Corporate disqualification |
| Debarment | Exclusion from public contracts |
| Shadow fleet | Maritime sanctions evasion |
| Role: RCA | Beneficial owner |
9 · FAQ
No match even though sanctioned?
Score below 70%, alternative spelling, or database not yet updated (daily). Use advanced search parameters (Reg. No., SWIFT). For vessels: use the IMO number — IMO-only search is more reliable than name search.
Vessel search by IMO finds nothing?
Enter only the 7-digit number — without "IMO" prefix. The system adds the prefix automatically. Example: enter 9298715, not IMO9298715.
Skipped rows in batch?
Name missing or shorter than 2 characters. For vessel rows: a row with an IMO number but no name is valid and will not be skipped. Short vessel names such as ARGO, JAN, or VEGA (2+ characters) are also accepted.
Multiple worksheets?
Only the first sheet is processed. Consolidate entries into one sheet.
How long are batch results stored?
Only for the duration of the browser session. Download important results as PDF before closing the tab.
Maximum Excel row count?
No row limit, but max. 10 MB file size. With 500+ rows, processing may take several minutes.
Sign in again every day?
No. Session remains active until explicit sign-out (per Azure AD policies).
